About the Work
The Gift of Life, a three part series for TV3 produced by Animo Television was a very comprehensive series which charted the stories of 14 people from all over Ireland who are (were) awaiting organ transplants. The series also followed the dedicated medical teams in the transplant centres in Beaumont, St Vincent’s and the Mater Hospitals. It was an extraordinary behind the scenes look at the people for whom a transplant means a new life.
