Giles Packham composed the score for this documentary directed by Maurice Sweeney, which profiles the late Vincent O’Brien, the man who was regarded as one of the world’s foremost race-horse trainers.
Racing journalist Noel Reid looks back on Vincent O’Brien’s career and discusses with him the rare disappointment of seeing two champions ‘Apatachee’ and ‘Ceillini’ fail.
The evocative score features piano, treated piano and strings.
The documentary was an award Winner at the Celtic Media Festival in 2011.
