Directed by John Kennedy & Ruairí O’Brien, this short black-and-white film was funded by the Irish Film Board’s Short Short Programme. Teeth is a short “last laugh” tale of two old friends, their teeth and a series of events that leaves them lost for words, starring the late veteran Irish film and TV actors Neil Tobin and Niall O’Brien.
In true silent movie tradition, the music by Giles Packham tells the story and connects emotionally with the audience.
Teeth has travelled the world since 2007 and is still frequently requested for screenings. It has ended up in many places including the Johnny Carson show in the US. It won five prizes including the Breast Film Festival and the Galway Film Festival.
